Meet Dr. Willis Wainwright
Dr. Willis Dean Wainwright, USN (Ret.), served in the United States Navy from 1986 to 2018. His career began at the deckplates, where he learned that leadership must be earned through preparation, humility, technical knowledge, and service to others.
Through years of disciplined work, he advanced from Fireman to Chief Warrant Officer Four and served as a Chief Engineer, technical leader, trainer, inspector, and mentor. His assignments carried him across ships, commands, countries, and challenging operational environments, strengthening his conviction that calm leadership and honest accountability can protect lives and transform people.
Following his military career, Dr. Wainwright continued building through business, education, ministry, and service to his family and community. His life reflects a continuing commitment to faith, responsibility, and creating opportunities that can endure for future generations.
